Afeisha JamesCEO and Co-founder of Wedspire
Afeisha James-Kipps is the CEO and Co-founder of Wedspire, a one-stop-shop wedding marketplace changing the way brides and grooms plan for their big day.
Over the last 10 years Afeisha’s professional entertainment managing expertise blossomed into a superior career in Events Management – planning and managing special events in the arts and culture spectrum. She excelled in her role as the former Arts & Entertainment Chair of Caribana, the largest Caribbean festival in North America and went on to manage corporate functions and special events for an International hotelier as an Events Director. Here she was introduced to the personalized and extensive needs of brides and grooms, wedding ceremonies and receptions. She fell in love with facilitating the needs for the big days of couples getting married, creating a natural leap into her latest innovative technology venture, Wedspire.
Afeisha’s vision in building this curated marketplace, with her husband and Co-founder Kevon Kipps, is to create a personalized one-stop-shop to take the ‘s’tress word out of wedding planning. Here brides and grooms have the ease of connecting with top-of-the-line vendors who match their personal style, tastes and budget, while enjoying a community filled with inspiration and planning tips.

Bogdan ConstantineCo-founder/CMO at Menguin
Co-founder and CMO of the most incredible tuxedo rental service known to man. Menguin makes it easy for guys to customize their perfect look (pants optional), party, and send back without any stress or trips to places that peer pressure you into buying cashmere turtlenecks. Incredibly lucky to be working on scaling an innovative ecommerce company with some of my closest friends. I’ve always had a fascination with physical goods and services and innovating through technology; from my first job in consumer electronics sales as a teen to coordinating international finance at TI, consulting CPG clients on technology solutions at Capgemini, or facilitating the optimal supply-demand scenarios at Delta. Simply put, I love the intersection of technology, consumer goods and insanely rad customer service with a charitable component – perfectly encapsulated by the “Menguin saves” tagline.
Christina FarrowFounder of Aisle Planner
Prior to launching Aisle Planner, Christina Farrow built and ran one of the most prestigious destination wedding companies in Hawaii. Her clients included celebrities, professional athletes, dignitaries, politicians as well as humble local families all of which required their own special treatment and care. She developed a process to planning that captured every last detail process and ensured that everyone involved in the execution of one of her events was a part of the process. Over the 15 years she built her business she garnered a reputation for being “The Planner” for high end couture events in Hawaii.
In 2011 she was approached with an offer to sell her company and its subsidiaries and made the decision to sell. After taking a year hiatus from the industry she began to work on a software application with her husband that would take her planning process and turn it into a project management system for wedding planning.
In 2013 they founded AislePlanner.com in their garage in sunny San Diego. Its core product, a cloud-based wedding and event planning solution, provides a stylish and streamlined suite of tools that makes designing, collaborating and managing every last event detail easy for wedding, event professionals, and their client partners.
To date, Aisle Planner has helped manage more than $775 million for over 30,000 weddings and now supports customers in 52 countries, a number that is increasing daily. As the platform grows, its mission remains the same: to serve and support planners as business owners and event managers, to share their stories and to celebrate their passions.
